Maybe you wish you were different
But im really quite sure you perfect
Just as you are
Just as you are

Its ok to not be an astronaut
You wont go to the moon
But you'll enjoy it more from the ground
Than anyone can in a spaceship

Don't give up or give in
They want you to convert love into pills
Figure out  ways to synthesize 
everything for cheap thrills

The life of a poet last much less than a mosquito
But its more real than
Anyone can imagine
You might not earn much money
But they can make you feel
What no one else can

I was thinking about changing my name
The other day
To something more interesting
But then I realized that names are just names

The real meaning of things
Is in our feelings
Maybe they are different 
But everything isn't for mathematicians

The life of a poet lasts much less than a mosquito
But its more real than
Anyone can imagine
You might not earn much money
But they can make you feel 
What no one else can
